A Thank You Card for Peachy Keen Challenge 10

The challenge this week from the Peachy Keen Challenge blog is Just Cards-Faux Stitching. I just recently bought this darling stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps and could not wait to use it! The challenge is simple -make a card and include faux stitching. The fun part of making this card was coloring the stamp with Copic markers! I stamped the image twice and cut out the biggest flower so I could layer it over the first stamped image using a pop dot to give the flower dimension. And, of course, I put faux stitching around the border of the yellow cardstock shape!

This A2 card was made using:
Kraft cardstock base
Teresa Collins patterned paper
Peachy Keen Stamps-Natalee (PK-210)
Cricut Imagine Hopscotch cartridge - yellow cardstock
Cricut Imagine shape stock image
EK Success Abstract Flower edge punch
Stamps of Life sentiment
Copic markers
Spica pens
Craft Essentials black ribbon

I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today! Have a happy crafting day!

An Easter Card for Peachy Keen Challenge #07- Sketch

I just have to say I love Peachy Keen stamps! They are photopolymer stamps (the only kind I buy now) and because of this they stamp beautifully and will last forever. And maybe better than that, they are CUTE! For this card, I followed the sketch for the Peachy Challenge #07. I stamped the PK image on patterned and yellow cardstock three times, cut them out and layered them to give this darling flower dimension. Usually I just stamp images on white cardstock and color them with Copic markers. This was a fun way to use this flower stamp that I hadn't done before.

This 5x7 card was made using:
Peachy Keen Stamps - large fun flower Ginger
DCWV Flower Shower stack
pink tulle
corner rounder
white jelly roll pen
sentiment stamp (manufacturer unknown)

This was a really fun card to make and it has turned out to be one of my favorites. It is cheery to me and I hope it gives you a little bit of cheer too!

I appreciate you stopping by! Have a happy crafting day!

Camping Scrapbooking Layout - PKS Challenge33

We just recently returned from a camping trip to Yosemite. I use the term camping loosely as we rented an RV for our trip! We didn't have hookups though so minus the beds, stove, oven, lights, and bathroom it was just like old fashion camping!!! It was quite an adventure especially when we broke down on the journey and then arrived at our campsite at midnight. Oh, did I mention the exciting and awesome driving my husband did on the very curvy mountain roads in the pitch dark - with road construction and gravel. You get the idea. I may have sprouted a few gray hairs that day but once we arrived and parked we had a wonderful time in Yosemite.

I did this layout for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 33 - Sketch. Head on over there at http://www.peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ and check it out. Am I the only one who is SO behind with my scrapbooking?! I guess the thing to do is just get started with scrapping some event (any event) instead of fretting and feeling overwhelmed. So, that's what I did with this - get inspired and motivated by a challenge and scrap a recent event.

Click on the picture to get a better look if you want to.

The recipe for this 12x12 two page layout:

Peachy Keen Stamps Everyday Character Face Assortment - for the sun face
Potpourri Basket Cricut cartridge - RV (I used the hide contour feature on the Gypsy to alter the school bus and made it into an RV), pine trees, pinecone, campfire
Life is a Beach Cricut cartridge - sun, font
Gypsy Font
Bo Bunny paper
Coredinations cardstock
atd pattern paper

Hope you enjoy this camping layout!
