This is my first center step card. Check out this link for easy to follow instructions on how to make this card. It's very simple and quick to make the base card. Picking out your patterned paper, embellishments and main focus of the card will take more time. At least it takes me more time - a lot of time, lol!
This is also the first time I have used this incredibly cute and funny digital image and sentiment! From the moment I saw it I knew I HAD to use it soon! Isn't it hilarious?? This digital image/sentiment was a freebie from the marvelous Marlooney (Marlene). Thanks so much Marlene!! Check out her blog here!
Although I'm sure I will have plenty of opportunities to use this card (I should have about 20 of these on hand, at least!), I am choosing to keep it in my craft space! It makes me smile every time I look at it!
To make this card I used:
digital stamp image/sentiment from Marlooney
Basic Grey Offbeat collection - paper and cardstock stickers
Copic markers
Another first for me is that I used patterned paper in my digital image. I printed the image on white cardstock and on patterned paper. Then I cut out the dress from the patterned paper and glued it to the image on the white cardstock. Then of course I colored the rest of the image with Copic markers.
